1. Introduction
SpinVisor respects your privacy and is committed to protecting personal information processed through the SpinVisor website, browser extension, SaaS platform and related services.
SpinVisor is operated by Dynemetry (Pty) Ltd, a company based in South Africa. References in this Privacy Policy to “SpinVisor”, “we”, “us” or “our” refer to SpinVisor, a division of Dynemetry (Pty) Ltd.
This Privacy Policy explains:
- what information we collect;
- why we collect it;
- how we use it;
- how gameplay and session information is processed;
- when information may be disclosed to service providers;
- how long information is retained;
- how account deletion and anonymisation work;
- how international processing may occur;
- how we protect information; and
- the privacy rights that may be available to you.
This Privacy Policy applies to the SpinVisor website, browser extension, SaaS platform and associated services.
Additional jurisdiction-specific notices, including our GDPR, POPIA and CCPA/CPRA notices, should be read together with this Privacy Policy where applicable.
2. Age Restriction
SpinVisor is intended exclusively for persons who are 18 years of age or older.
We request your date of birth during registration for the purpose of determining whether you meet SpinVisor's minimum age requirement.
If the date of birth supplied during registration indicates that you are under 18, registration and access to SpinVisor will be refused.
SpinVisor relies on users to provide accurate and truthful registration information. We do not currently independently verify a user's date of birth against government identity records or similar external identity-verification systems.
Attempts to register that fail our age requirement may be recorded in security and application logs for fraud prevention, abuse prevention, security and compliance purposes.
Such records are generally retained for between 90 days and 12 months, depending on the security purpose for which they are required.
3. Information We Collect
SpinVisor follows a data-minimisation approach. We seek to collect only information reasonably required to operate, secure and improve the service.
The information we process falls into the categories described below.
3.1 Registration and Account Information
When you create a SpinVisor account, we may collect or generate:
- email address;
- date of birth;
- IP address used during registration;
- internal account or user identifier;
- automatically generated SpinVisor handle or nickname;
- account creation date and related account timestamps;
- account status;
- subscription tier;
- authentication information; and
- security and verification information.
Your password is processed for authentication purposes. SpinVisor does not intentionally store your password in readable plaintext. Passwords are stored using secure password-hashing mechanisms.
3.2 SpinVisor Handle
SpinVisor automatically generates a pseudonymous handle when an account is created.
Users may subsequently request a different handle through their profile. SpinVisor checks whether the requested handle is available before allowing the change.
Your handle may be displayed in community-related functionality or content you elect to share.
A SpinVisor handle should not be considered fully anonymous while your account exists because SpinVisor can associate that handle with your account internally.
We encourage users not to select handles that reveal their real identity or unnecessary personal information.
3.3 Optional Profile Information
SpinVisor does not require your real name, profile photograph or country of residence to provide its core gameplay analytics functionality.
However, your profile provides optional fields through which you may voluntarily provide:
- first name;
- last name;
- country of residence; and
- profile photograph.
Providing this information is entirely optional.
SpinVisor does not require these optional profile fields to identify your casino account or analyse your gameplay.
Users should avoid submitting unnecessary personal or sensitive information through optional profile fields.
4. Information SpinVisor Does Not Request
SpinVisor is not designed to collect or store your casino authentication credentials or sensitive banking credentials.
SpinVisor does not intentionally request or store:
- casino usernames or login credentials;
- casino passwords;
- online banking usernames or passwords;
- bank account login credentials;
- complete payment-card numbers;
- card CVV/security codes;
- cryptocurrency wallet private keys;
- government identity documents;
- passport information;
- casino KYC documentation; or
- private communications or messages from your casino account.
Payment information required to purchase a paid SpinVisor subscription may be processed by the applicable payment provider or Merchant of Record rather than directly by SpinVisor.
SpinVisor may receive limited transaction information from such providers, such as subscription status, payment status, transaction reference, customer reference, billing period and subscription identifier.
5. IP Address and Approximate Location
SpinVisor may collect IP addresses for purposes including:
- registration;
- account security;
- fraud and abuse prevention;
- application security;
- access control;
- technical troubleshooting; and
- determining an approximate country or region.
SpinVisor does not use your IP address to determine your precise GPS location.
An IP-derived country or region is an approximation and may be inaccurate, including where a VPN, proxy, mobile network or other routing technology is used.
6. Gameplay Information
When the SpinVisor browser extension is active on a supported website and has the required browser permission, it may process gameplay telemetry necessary to provide SpinVisor functionality.
Depending on the supported game and provider, this may include:
- game title;
- game provider or studio;
- casino or website;
- game RTP information;
- volatility information;
- game maximum-win metadata;
- displayed game/casino balance;
- wager or bet amount;
- spin sequence and spin number;
- spin result;
- win amount;
- loss or net result;
- tumble or cascade events;
- multipliers;
- bonus and feature triggers;
- bonus spins;
- bonus results;
- spin-in features;
- purchased/bought bonus features;
- feature purchase price where applicable;
- feature progress;
- feature multipliers; and
- related gameplay events required for analytics.
SpinVisor processes this information to create gameplay analytics and session statistics.
Reading a balance displayed within a supported game does not give SpinVisor access to the user's bank account, payment card or casino payment credentials.
7. Session Information
SpinVisor may organise gameplay telemetry into session records.
Session information may include:
- session identifier;
- game;
- game provider;
- casino or website;
- session start time;
- session end time;
- session duration;
- session status;
- starting displayed balance;
- ending displayed balance;
- total wagers;
- total wins;
- session profit/loss;
- average wager;
- largest win;
- total spins;

- bonus spins;
- winning spins;
- win rate;
- tumble statistics;
- average win;
- observed RTP;
- net result per spin;
- dry-spell statistics; and
- other statistical measurements derived from the session.
While your account remains active, session history may be associated with your SpinVisor account.
8. Bonus and Feature Information
Where supported, SpinVisor may process information relating to game bonuses and features, including:
- bonus occurrence;
- spin-in or purchased-feature status;
- triggering spin;
- spins before a feature;
- spins after a feature;
- feature purchase price;
- trigger-spin result;
- number of feature spins;
- feature progress;
- individual feature-spin results;
- awarded multipliers;
- missed multipliers;
- running feature value;
- final feature value;
- feature profit/loss; and
- historical feature statistics.
9. Derived Analytics
SpinVisor calculates analytics from observed gameplay information.
These may include:
- session profit/loss;
- observed RTP;
- win rate;
- average wager;
- average win;
- net result per spin;
- tumble/cascade rates;
- dry-spell statistics;
- feature frequency;
- spins-before-feature statistics;
- session-performance metrics;
- variance-related measurements; and
- other statistical analytics.
Random casino game outcomes remain outside SpinVisor's control.
10. Community Information
SpinVisor may use gameplay information to create community and aggregate analytics, including information relating to:
- trending games;
- gameplay activity;
- observed game statistics;
- provider statistics;
- significant wins;
- feature activity;
- game trends;
- provider trends; and
- other aggregated statistical information.
Community functionality may display a user's SpinVisor handle.
SpinVisor does not intentionally display a user's email address, date of birth, IP address, optional real name or other private account information as part of public community gameplay information.
Users may also choose to share SpinVisor-generated results externally, including through social media. Such content is designed to use a user's SpinVisor handle rather than private account information.
Users should nevertheless consider whether their chosen handle itself identifies them before sharing content publicly.
11. Browser Extension Permissions
SpinVisor requires access to supported casino/game websites in order to detect and process supported gameplay telemetry.
Modern Chromium-based browsers provide users with controls over extension website access.
Where browser permission is required, you may allow or decline SpinVisor access to a website.
If you decline access, SpinVisor will not override that browser-level decision. Functionality requiring access to that website will consequently be unavailable.
Permission to access a website does not give SpinVisor unrestricted access to your casino account credentials, banking credentials or payment information.
Further technical information is provided in the SpinVisor Extension Data Collection Statement.
12. Technical and Security Information
SpinVisor may process technical information necessary to operate and secure the service, including:
- IP address;
- browser type;
- browser version;
- operating system;
- device-related technical information;
- SpinVisor extension version;
- installation identifiers;
- supported site/domain information;
- API request information;
- authentication/session tokens;
- application logs;
- error information;
- security events;
- failed login attempts;
- password-reset information;
- email verification information; and
- security/audit information.
This information may be used for security, fraud prevention, troubleshooting, service reliability, compatibility and abuse prevention.
13. Support Tickets
Registered users may submit support tickets and requests relating to SpinVisor, including requests concerning supported games, websites or technical issues.
Information voluntarily included in a support ticket will be processed for the purpose of investigating and responding to the request.
Users are encouraged not to include unnecessary personal information, casino credentials, passwords, banking information, payment-card information or other sensitive information in support tickets.
Closed support tickets are generally deleted approximately 30 days after closure.
Technical solutions, procedures and troubleshooting knowledge obtained from resolved tickets may be transcribed into SpinVisor's internal knowledge base.
Personal information from the user should not be included in those permanent knowledge-base records.
14. Newsletter
Users may separately subscribe to receive SpinVisor newsletters.
SpinVisor maintains its newsletter subscription system internally.
We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel or similar advertising tracking technologies to build newsletter behavioural profiles. Google Analytics on the SpinVisor website, where used, is separate from the newsletter subscription list.
SpinVisor does not maintain newsletter behavioural histories for purposes such as profiling individual subscribers.
Users may unsubscribe using the unsubscribe functionality included with the newsletter service.
Following an unsubscribe request, SpinVisor may retain the minimum information necessary to:
- record that the address unsubscribed;
- honour the unsubscribe request;
- prevent unintended future subscription; and
- demonstrate that the unsubscribe request was processed.
This suppression record may include:
- email address or appropriate identifier;
- unsubscribe status; and
- unsubscribe date.
A person who previously unsubscribed and subsequently wishes to subscribe again must contact SpinVisor support and expressly request re-subscription.
15. How We Use Personal Information
Depending on the information concerned, SpinVisor may process information to:
- create and administer accounts;
- authenticate users;
- enforce the 18+ age restriction;
- provide browser-extension functionality;
- process gameplay telemetry;
- create session and feature analytics;
- maintain historical gameplay information;
- provide community functionality;
- manage subscriptions;
- communicate service information;
- provide newsletters where requested;
- respond to support requests;
- maintain service reliability;
- detect and prevent fraud or abuse;
- protect accounts and infrastructure;
- troubleshoot technical problems;
- maintain application and security logs;
- comply with legal obligations;
- establish, exercise or defend legal claims;
- enforce SpinVisor's Terms of Service; and
- improve SpinVisor's services using appropriate statistical and anonymised information.
16. Legal Bases for Processing
Where applicable privacy legislation requires a legal basis, SpinVisor may rely on one or more of the following:
Contractual necessity
Processing required to create and operate your account and provide requested SpinVisor functionality.
Consent
Processing based on a voluntary choice, including certain optional profile information and newsletter subscriptions, where consent is the appropriate legal basis.
Legitimate interests
Processing reasonably necessary for purposes such as:
- service security;
- fraud and abuse prevention;
- troubleshooting;
- maintaining service integrity;
- understanding and improving service performance;
- maintaining appropriate records; and
- protecting SpinVisor, its users and infrastructure.
Where legitimate interests are relied upon, SpinVisor seeks to balance those interests against users' privacy rights.
Legal obligations
Processing necessary to comply with applicable legal, tax, accounting, regulatory or lawful governmental requirements.
Establishment or defence of legal claims
Information may be retained or processed where reasonably necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal rights or claims.
The applicable legal basis may vary according to the information, processing activity and jurisdiction.
17. Subscription and Payment Processing
SpinVisor may offer Basic, Pro, Premium or other subscription tiers.
If you purchase a paid subscription, payment processing may be performed by an independent payment gateway, payment processor or Merchant of Record.
SpinVisor does not intend to store complete card numbers, CVV codes or online banking credentials.
SpinVisor may receive and retain information necessary to administer a subscription, such as:
- subscription tier;
- subscription status;
- billing cycle;
- subscription start date;
- renewal date;
- cancellation status;
- payment-provider customer identifier;
- subscription identifier;
- transaction or order reference; and
- payment status.
Payment and tax service providers may process additional information under their own privacy policies and legal obligations.
SpinVisor will identify applicable material payment providers in its legal documentation when the production payment infrastructure is finalised or changed.
18. Service Providers and Infrastructure
SpinVisor uses service providers and infrastructure partners to operate its services.
These may include:
Vander Host
Used in connection with SpinVisor's hosting infrastructure, domain/DNS services and transactional email services.
Amazon Web Services (AWS)
Used for portions of SpinVisor's cloud, storage, content-delivery or related infrastructure.
Cloudflare
Used for portions of SpinVisor's distributed infrastructure, content delivery, storage, performance and/or security architecture.
Google Analytics
Used on the SpinVisor website to measure how visitors use the site. Google may process technical usage information as described in Google's own privacy documentation.
SpinVisor manages its application and databases while infrastructure providers may process or store information as required to deliver their respective services.
Profile-image files and similar assets may be stored using cloud infrastructure while SpinVisor's database maintains the associated file reference or path.
SpinVisor may change infrastructure providers where reasonably necessary for security, availability, performance or business requirements. Material changes affecting privacy practices will be reflected in this Privacy Policy where required.
19. International Processing
SpinVisor is operated from South Africa and serves users internationally.
SpinVisor seeks to use appropriate regional infrastructure and data-localisation capabilities where reasonably available and configured.
However, we do not guarantee that personal information will always be processed exclusively within the country in which a user resides.
Infrastructure providers may process information through regional or international systems according to the applicable service configuration and contractual arrangements.
Authorised SpinVisor personnel located in South Africa may remotely access systems containing personal information where reasonably necessary for:
- service administration;
- security;
- maintenance;
- troubleshooting;
- support; and
- operation of SpinVisor.
Where applicable law requires safeguards for international transfers, SpinVisor will seek to use appropriate contractual, organisational or other legally recognised safeguards.
20. Account Activity and Automatic Deletion
SpinVisor does not intend to retain dormant registered accounts indefinitely.
An inactivity lifecycle applies to registered Basic, Pro and Premium accounts.
After 30 days of inactivity
If SpinVisor detects no qualifying account activity for 30 consecutive days, we may send an email notifying you that your account is inactive and is scheduled for deletion on the 60th day of inactivity if activity does not resume.
After 45 days of inactivity
If the account remains inactive, SpinVisor may send another reminder approximately 15 days before the scheduled deletion date.
Before Day 60
Using the SpinVisor browser extension or SaaS backend in a manner recognised as qualifying account activity resets the inactivity process.
Day 60
If no qualifying activity has occurred, SpinVisor may:
- permanently delete the registered account;
- terminate access associated with that account;
- remove account-linked personal information from active production systems;
- anonymise retained historical gameplay information; and
- send a notification informing the former user that the account has been deleted.
Following deletion, access requires creation of a new SpinVisor account.
Historical information associated with the deleted account cannot subsequently be restored to the former user because the retained statistical information has been anonymised and its association with the former account has been removed.
Cancellation of a paid subscription is not the same as account deletion. A user cancelling Pro or Premium may remain registered as a Basic user and remains subject to the normal account-activity rules.
21. User-Initiated Account Deletion
Users may delete their SpinVisor account themselves through the functionality provided by SpinVisor.
When an account is deleted, SpinVisor removes the user's account and associated personal information from active production systems, subject to information that must temporarily remain in restricted backups or must be retained to comply with law or establish or defend legal claims.
Deletion means that the user loses access to their account and account-linked history.
If the user later creates another SpinVisor account, the previous history cannot be reconnected to the new account.
22. Anonymisation of Historical Gameplay Information
SpinVisor may retain historical gameplay information after an account is deleted, provided that information has been irreversibly anonymised.
The anonymisation process is intended to remove the association between historical gameplay information and the former account.
This includes removing or severing links to identifiers capable of reconnecting the historical information to the former user.
The former user's account handle may be replaced in retained historical records by a generic SpinVisor identifier.
Once properly anonymised, the historical statistical information is no longer maintained as information about the former identifiable account holder and may be retained for:
- historical statistical analysis;
- aggregate analytics;
- community statistics;
- game/provider statistics;
- research into platform performance; and
- improvement of SpinVisor analytics.
Anonymised historical information may be retained indefinitely.
Anonymisation is intended to be irreversible. Consequently, SpinVisor cannot restore anonymised historical information to a user who later creates a new account.
23. Data Retention
SpinVisor applies different retention periods according to the purpose and type of information.
Active accounts
Account information is retained while the user remains a registered and active Basic, Pro or Premium user, subject to the inactivity policy described above.
Account-linked gameplay/session information
Retained while associated with an active registered account.
When the account is deleted, retained historical gameplay information is anonymised.
Registration IP addresses
Generally retained for security and operational purposes for between 90 days and 12 months, depending on the applicable security requirement.
Application and security logs
Generally retained for between 90 days and 12 months, depending on security, fraud-prevention and operational requirements.
Failed under-18 registration attempts
Relevant security records may generally be retained for between 90 days and 12 months for age-restriction enforcement, fraud prevention, abuse prevention and security.
Support tickets
Generally retained for 30 days after closure, after which relevant non-personal technical knowledge may be retained separately.
Newsletter information
Active subscription information is retained while subscribed.
Following unsubscribe, only the minimum suppression information reasonably required to honour and document the unsubscribe request may be retained.
Subscription, accounting and tax records
Retained for periods required under applicable tax, accounting, financial or other laws.
Anonymised statistics
Information that has been irreversibly anonymised may be retained indefinitely.
24. Backups
SpinVisor operates rolling backups for disaster recovery, security and business continuity.
Backups generally operate on a 30-day rolling schedule.
Information deleted from active production systems may temporarily remain within encrypted or otherwise access-restricted backups until those backups expire or are overwritten.
The final residual backup containing deleted personal information is expected to be removed or overwritten through the normal backup lifecycle within no more than approximately 60 days after deletion from the active production environment.
Backups are not intended to be used to restore an individual user account after that account has been deliberately deleted.
25. Security
SpinVisor uses reasonable technical and organisational measures intended to protect information against:
- unauthorised access;
- unauthorised disclosure;
- alteration;
- misuse;
- accidental loss;
- destruction; and
- unlawful processing.
Measures may include access controls, authentication controls, password hashing, infrastructure security, logging, backups, restricted administrative access and security monitoring.
No Internet-connected service can guarantee absolute security. Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their SpinVisor account credentials and should notify SpinVisor if they suspect unauthorised access.
26. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
The SpinVisor website uses Google Analytics to measure website usage. Google Analytics may process technical information such as IP address, device and browser details, pages visited and similar usage statistics.
SpinVisor does not currently use Meta Pixel or similar third-party advertising pixels for behavioural advertising.
SpinVisor may use technical cookies, authentication mechanisms, local browser storage or similar technologies where necessary to:
- maintain login sessions;
- authenticate users;
- maintain security;
- remember necessary settings;
- operate website functionality; and
- provide the SpinVisor service.
SpinVisor does not use such technologies to obtain casino passwords or banking credentials.
Further information may be provided in SpinVisor's Cookie Policy.
27. Commercial Use of Gameplay Data
SpinVisor may commercially use, license or sell aggregated or anonymised gameplay-derived data, statistics and analytical information to third parties, including gaming-industry and gameplay-data aggregators.
SpinVisor does not intend to sell information that directly identifies an individual account holder, such as their email address, date of birth, IP address, name, profile photograph or authentication information.
Before information is supplied as anonymised gameplay data, SpinVisor intends to remove or sever identifiers that could reasonably connect that information to an identifiable user.
Where applicable privacy legislation defines “sale” or “sharing” more broadly than ordinary commercial usage of those terms, SpinVisor will provide applicable disclosures and rights, including opt-out rights where legally required, through the relevant jurisdiction-specific privacy notice.
28. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live and which privacy legislation applies, you may have rights concerning your personal information.
These may include the right to:
- request information about personal information SpinVisor holds about you;
- access your personal information;
- correct inaccurate or incomplete information;
- request deletion;
- restrict certain processing;
- object to certain processing;
- withdraw consent where processing relies on consent;
- request portability where applicable;
- object to direct marketing;
- lodge a complaint with an applicable privacy regulator; and
- exercise additional jurisdiction-specific privacy rights.
Certain rights are subject to legal conditions and exceptions.
SpinVisor may need to verify that a request relates to the correct account before disclosing, changing or deleting personal information.
Additional information is provided in SpinVisor's GDPR, POPIA and CCPA/CPRA compliance notices where applicable.
29. Automated Analytics
SpinVisor automatically processes gameplay information to calculate statistics, analytics and other outputs.
This automated processing is fundamental to the service.
SpinVisor's analytics do not control the casino game, casino RNG, outcome of a spin, casino account, deposit, withdrawal or payment transaction.
Where applicable law grants rights relating to automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects, those rights may be exercised in accordance with applicable law.
30. Children's Privacy
SpinVisor is not intended for children or persons under 18.
Persons under 18 must not create or use a SpinVisor account.
Where SpinVisor becomes aware that an account is being used by a person under 18, SpinVisor may suspend or delete the account and take appropriate steps concerning associated personal information.
31. Regulatory Complaints
Users may have the right to lodge a complaint with the privacy or data-protection regulator applicable to them.
For users in South Africa, this may include the Information Regulator (South Africa).
Users in the European Economic Area may have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority in their country.
Users in other jurisdictions may have equivalent rights under applicable privacy legislation.
We encourage users to contact SpinVisor first where appropriate so that we have an opportunity to investigate and address a privacy concern.
32. Changes to This Privacy Policy
SpinVisor may update this Privacy Policy as its services, infrastructure, legal obligations or privacy practices evolve.
When material changes are made, we will update the “Last Updated” date and may provide additional notice through the website, browser extension, SaaS backend, email or another appropriate communication method.
Where applicable law requires consent to a material change, SpinVisor will request that consent before relying on the affected processing.
33. Relationship With Other SpinVisor Policies
This Privacy Policy should be read together with SpinVisor's:
- Terms of Service;
- Extension Data Collection Statement;
- GDPR Compliance & Rights Notice;
- POPIA Compliance Notice;
- CCPA/CPRA Privacy Notice;
- Cookie Policy;
- Responsible Gambling / Responsible Play Policy;
- Subscription, Cancellation & Refund Policy; and
- Gambling & Analytics Disclaimer.
Jurisdiction-specific notices may provide additional rights or requirements and will apply to the extent required by applicable law.
34. Contacting SpinVisor

Privacy Email: support@spinvisor.com
Where required, additional company registration, physical/service address, Information Officer or representative details will be provided in the applicable jurisdiction-specific notice.
35. Privacy Commitment
SpinVisor is designed around pseudonymous gameplay analytics rather than the collection of unnecessary identifying information.
Our objective is to collect and process only the information reasonably necessary to operate, secure and improve SpinVisor while keeping casino credentials, banking credentials and other unnecessary sensitive information outside the SpinVisor platform.
Where historical gameplay information is retained after an account is deleted, our intention is to retain it only after the connection to the former identifiable user has been irreversibly removed.
